5ire is a cross-platform desktop AI assistant and MCP (Model Context Protocol) client. It acts as a unified interface to connect with various LLM providers (including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and local models via Ollama) and integrates with localized tools and data sources through standard MCP servers.
The application features a local knowledge base using bge-m3 for multilingual vectorization, supporting various document formats for RAG. It also includes a prompt library, usage analytics, and a marketplace for discovering and installing MCP servers to extend functionality with system tools.
